I searched for your face, my love,
It has been long, but at long last..

as i gaze upon you,
i am bewildered..

I bore testimony to your magnificence..
oh how i wish i could look on with a hundred eyes,

Those that mocked and scorned me yesterday..
are sorry and regretful they haven't looked like how i looked today..

This beating passion,
My endearing affection,
How i yearn this to be true,
a love... a love..
I am ashamed to call it human..
but i fear god to call it divine..

Your breath as fresh as a cool spring breeze..
like a wind in a dream in a dream..
I could await for eternity..
and listen.. to silence like that of the garden..

Every fiber burns for you,
my lifeless heart beats only for you,
I desire you,
I need you,
You who have brought my arrow to the target..

you who have delivered me to the house of mercy..

and made my heart..

a place of prayer..
